Warranty Replacement ProcedureThe information below is for Authorized Canadian Dealers only. (If you are a customer and have a problem with your machine, please contact the Dealer you bought the machine from and s/he will take care of it for you). All of our products come with a one year warranty against manufacturing defects. If one of your customers has purchased a machine and reports that there is a problem with it, please go through the troubleshooting process first to help determine what the problem is. Sometimes the solution is simple (for example, the customer has plugged the headphones into the light frame jack) and the problem can be resolved by a phone call. It may also be helpful to go to the Mindplace Support Site or Forum and see if someone else has a similar problem or post a message and ask a technician about the problem. The Mindplace Support Site has specific and helpful information regarding each of the products and a FAQ that is quite helpful in troubleshooting: http://www.mindplacesupport.com/ The Mindplace Forum: http://www.ayrmetes.com/Mind_Products/warranty_replacement_procedure.htm You may need to get the entire system back from your customer to test it properly. Sometimes what may seem like a problem with the light-frames, for example, may actually be the jack on the unit. Once you have determined what the problem is and the machine or accessories need replacing please contact: Marisa Broughton either via email or phone (403) 281-6440 for a Warranty replacement number. If you are sending an email, please write as complete of a description of the problem is as possible. Note: Without a "warranty replacement number" we will not process the claim. Next, package the defective part, in a manner that it will not experience any further damage by shipping, along with a note that describes the problem, the full address to where the replacement part is to be shipped and the Warranty Replacement number that I have given you. As with most other manufacturers, the Dealer pays for shipping the unit to us and we pay the cost for shipping the new unit back to you. We will ship the replacement unit back to you via Canada Post within two weeks (providing we have the parts in stock). Please note: We will send you a replacement unit once we've received the defective unit and confirmed that it is defective.
