Marisa Broughton is a Certified Master Practitioner in both NLP and Hypnosis. She completed her NLP training in 2000 at the Canadian Training Centres and in early 2003, she completed her hypnosis training (with Advanced Standing) at the Excel Centre - Hypnotherapy Training College.
Previous to her NLP and Hypnotherapy training, Marisa attended Athabasca University where she studied Business Administration (specialty: Organizational Behavior). She has also taken many business courses through Mount Royal University.
In 1997, Marisa started her company - Ayrmetes, where she honed her skills in publishing, public speaking & training in the areas of Crime Prevention and Security. In 2000, after taking her NLP training, she decided to turn her attention to counseling and coaching individuals - which she did for the following three years.
In 2004, after being an authorized dealer for two years prior, Marisa took on the role of Canadian Distributor for The MindPlace Company, an innovative company out of the U.S.A. that develops leading-edge mind enhancing products and in 2012, she became an Authorized Dealer for The Transparent Company, which designs incredibly powerful “mind based” software (which is compatible to Mindplace products).
Prior to her work in NLP & Hypnosis, Marisa concentrated on publishing and public speaking primarily in the Security & Crime Prevention Field. Marisa has been associated with many professional organizations such as: Academy of Behavioral Profiling, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, American Society of Industrial Security, International Foundation for Protection Officers, Calgary Youth Justice Society and served on the board for the Alberta Community Crime Prevention Association.
When she’s not spending time with volunteer projects for the Friends of Fish Creek, Medicine River Wildlife Centre and the Mindplace Forum, you’ll find her buried in the latest research on the mind and methods for helping people achieve a more successful life.
Andy works as a full-time international touring sound engineer/monitor technician.
